Lloyd Helicopters and its forerunners have been in the industry since the late 1960s. Patrick Lloyd established the first helicopter operation in Singapore in 1970 to service oil tankers transiting the Malacca Straits and during the 1970s and 1980s, operated a fleet of 25 helicopters throughout Asia.
In 1986, the focus of the company shifted from purely operating to a combination of operating, trading, broking and consultancy. By1995, the company was concentrating purely on sales and broking, with sales offices established in the USA and Europe.
Today, Lloyd Helicopters is a market leader in the global helicopter industry. The group has a team of highly experienced individuals with expertise in all areas of the industry.

Pat Lloyd - is the founder of Lloyd Helicopters. Pat has been in the helicopter industry for over 45 years. He has extensive experience in helicopter operations, broking and trading. He now heads up the Europe office based in London, where he covers the European and African time zones.

Christopher Lloyd - is the group's Managing Director. As Pat's son, Chris was introduced to the helicopter industry as a young boy, and joined the company 20 years ago after completing his business degree in London. A helicopter pilot, Chris is now well established in the industry and has many key contacts with manufacturers, operators and owners that he has built up over his lifetime in the helicopter world. |

Ken Jacobsen - has been in the helicopter industry for over 40 years in roles as pilot, engineer and consultant. Ken now heads up the USA office based in Pennsylvania. Ken covers the North American, South American and Canadian time zones but his main market, and the largest single national helicopter market, is North America.

Gay Kiat Lam - is the group's Technical Manager. Kiat Lam has spent over 22 years on the technical and engineering aspects of helicopters. He joined Lloyd Helicopters in 2002 and his expertise in technical matters of various helicopter models adds authority to inspections and valuations carried out for Lloyd Helicopters and their clients. |
